Hertfordshire Golf Statement re COVID-19

Statement regarding Coronavirus Pandemic

Tuesday 17th March 2020

Taking into account the ever-changing landscape and all scientific and medical advice recommended to us, it was decided by the Board of Directors today that all Hertfordshire Golf Limited activity shall be suspended/postponed with immediate effect, until at least the 30th April 2020.

This extends to all championships, events, matches, coaching, course rating and all related and similar type activities. This includes interclub matches, such as but not limited to, the Men’s and Ladies Scratch Leagues.

The situation will be reviewed internally on a regular basis.

Decisions on whether events will be rearranged for later in the season or cancelled will be made on a case by case basis and finalised once we have come out of this postponement period. As such all events will be on hold until such time.

We will update all relevant parties as soon as we have more to announce.

We thank you for your interest in our activities and wish all our affiliated clubs and their members all the very best in these unprecedented and trying times.
